I DO love your "sign-off" Rick!
It has also been happening to us around here as the crappie have been VERY co-operative at Clearlake recently. Well, I guess they have been that way thru the winter too, but we just got the lead out and did several trips. The first was sort of exploratory, the second for dinner, and the third and most future trips are for "hooking" some newbie's......the MOST fun.
One could certainly get lazy sitting in a chair on the dock, tossing a shooting head, and occasionally tossing a dinner guest into the cooler while releasing a bunch of others.
Floridafly's Mayakka minnow with a chartreuse head/white arctic fox tail and a miniature surf-candie with angel hair and krystal flash have been the ticket for us. Gotta try that crappie candy next trip too.
Like Rick says, "had fillets to eat and share"........plenty to eat and share.
