    Default Slickwater Caddis SBS



    Minimalist tie; change color/size to suit your needs. Original has stripped hackle-stem antennae; your choice whether to use or not. Apologies for the dirty nails; replaced serpentine belt on the wife's van.


    hook - Dai Riki 125 #14
    thread - MFC 8/0 sand
    abdomen - Ultra Chenille beige
    wing - Congo Hair dun
    indicator - Parapost Yarn hot orange
    hackle - barred cream


    Part 1


    mash barb, start thread, tie to point above point




    flame taper the end of chenille




    measure (gap width past bend) and tie in






    tie in a hank of CH




    and indicator




    tie in hackle




    wrap hackle, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN

    trim wing; you can leave the hackle as is




    or trim it out underneath
