Just a quick update on Jack. The Docs want him to have some dental work done before they go under the hood (his words, not mine). That should be scheduled for next week and then the heart work will be sometime after that.

Hey Jack, I finally got my new "puter" hooked up and running tonight, been missing my fly fishing jedi master, hope your do`n ok, will Pm my new phone number.

Thanks for the support guys! I'm going to need all I can get I'm sure.
Today I had the "Deep Cleaning" job on my teeth and hopefully my regular dentist can clear me for surgery early next week.
This is something that sort of happened without my knowing there was a problem. A good reason for getting a check up every 6 months or so when you reach my age. What I though was occasional heart burn was something worse!
I quite smoking back in 2009 but over 40 years of 2 pack a day + have also caught up with me and I have a moderate case of COPD which can be treated.

Hang in there. Jack. You're a tough codger and I expect you to be posting for a good while. You've still got flies to tie and fish to catch. You've got stories to tell and more to have happen.
