Original pattern was tied with hackle fiber tail. Turned out okay, but the stacked wing was kinda sterile and lifeless, so on the next try, I just trimmed it off the hide, cleaned out the fuzz and tied it on. Looks a bit more "active" (same goes for the tail; much happier with the calftail); fish probably won't care.

wing - deer hair
head - deer hair spun/clipped

Scott, you continue to amaze me! You put out pattern after pattern almost daily, all nicely tied. I ain't complaining. The first thing I do when I get on the BB is to see what you have come up with next. Keep it up and thank you again for sharing with us.
