    Nice. Now all you need is about 10 more and you'll have a very tasty fish dinner. What pattern did you catch it on? This time of year I catch them on Carter's SEM Sculpin tied in bright colors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxc3azavAv8 This is absolutely my top producing cool weather pattern. When tied in bright colors, I get crappie, in all black I catch large bream and some pretty decent sized bass.

    Crappie are a ball on the fly! I spend quite a few days in winter and early spring hunting them in East Tennessee. In Tn, crappie must be 10" to be legal. You can take 15 per day per person. The big ones that feed on threadfin shad will eat chartreuse over white clouser minnows with fervor. We regularly catch slabs in the 13-15" range!
