underbody - non-tox .025 (optional)
thread - Danville 6/0 olive
rib - Sexi Floss lime green
abdomen - Arizona Synthetic Dubbing bronze peacock
wing case/legs - pheasant tail
thorax/head - peacock herl
throat - Angel Hair peacock


Part 1

mash barb, start thread, tie in rib, wrap to point above barb




dub thread, dub abdomen to 2/3 mark






conterwrap rib; tie off/trim




measure (hook point to eye) a clump of pheasant tail fibers; tie in at front of abdomen (leave some room in front for the head), along with some Angel Hair fibers






tie in peacock herl; twist around thread and wrap thorax, tie off but don't trim

Part 2

divide the pheasant tips, tie back along the sides, Angel Hair on the underside






pull the butts of the pheasant forward; tie off/trim




wrap the head; tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
