    tail - guinea
    rib - peacock herl/xsmall wire gold
    shellback - turkey tail
    body - Unistretch yellow
    hackle - partridge

    Have you tried it. It should work well on brookies as is or substituting orange for yellow Unistretch.

    I tie a variation of this (more herl and no tail) for browns on the Grand River here in Ontario. Swinging it through the riffles is deadly right time of year. (May June).

    Nice! Would work great through the pockets, banging off the boulders like the natural stone trying to crawl out of the stream on a rock
