The Coyote Carp Fly, and the Clouser Swimming Nymph.
Hands down my all time most reliable carp fly!Although any nymph can be tied in the round... which is a tying technique originated by Charlie Brooks...
Wish ya great fishing,Bill
meat whistle or headstand nymph!!
Depends on if you are targeting grass carp or common carp, my favorite grass carp fly is a black and orange cicada top water fly then probably a sister carol grass fly and common carp will hit a ton of stuff and can get very picky but over the years I have done well with rust colored nymphs and small crayfish flies

My favorite pattern for tailing carp is a #8 bead head prince nymph. I've tried many different patterns for tailers, but keep coming back to prince nymph if I want consistent action.
