I have. Using an 8wt. graphite rod for steelhead and caught a 2# brookie. All I could think of was I wish I'd have caught that on my 3wt. bamboo.

Me too!
Fishing a smaller stream one time and was too lazy to switch to my bamboo rod and wished I was using it on those smaller trout. Would have been more fun playing them with bamboo.
