Lanyard fly box question?
Do you use a lanyard? And if so, what or where do you keep your flies? I'm sort of embarrassed to admit it, but I started making my own lanyard out of paracord and just sort of got to wondering what am I going to do with my flies. I probably should have thought of that sooner but maybe I can make it work.

you might want to check out Goertzan lanyards to get an idea for a way to incorporate a fly box. I got one from my son as a Father's Day gift last year. very cool for the small mtn. streams when going light.

I use a Mayfly lanyard that has a Velcro closed fabric pocket or holder that I can place both my license and a small double sided fly box. Get some rip stop nylon, sew a pouch and sew it onto the lanyard.
