that is an interesting pattern. I haven't fished a parachute pattern in years, but looks interesting to tie for sure.
Not a new idea. Ralph Cutter's E/C Caddis demonstrated that style years ago, and more recently Mike Mercer's Missing Link has become popular, again with the same wing (Mercer got it from Cutter). Not sure why one would use in on something like a BWO pattern, especially in a bleached color, but the style is effective nevertheless.
I like the description: "Great clean design for weary trout."
Is this fly only for tired trout?
