Just left the nursing home, Warren is doing so so today, he had a real busy day with having a scoope procedure done on his throat and some X-rays. Per Deb & Warren, tomorrow is not going to work to visit so maybe you can make it for another day.

Wayne, how is Warren's diet progressing. Is he ready for a plate of catfish and hushpuppies yet?

He would like to have that for sure, but he is still on a soft food diet. Mashed potatoes, oat meal , ETC. They had to take him Back to the hospital yesterday and reopen his throat some, because he was having some problem swallowing. He is not out of the woods yet but he and Debbie are working hard to get him better. Please keep them both in your prayers.
God Bless

I visited with Warren and Debbie for over an hour this evening. Warren seemed glad to chat. He is looking forward to getting home whenever they release him. He is also looking forward to doing some fishing, when he is able. He is walking for longer distances and is using a cane instead of a walker. He confided that he has also started just carrying the cane and not using it much. I'm looking forward to seeing him carry a different sort of "cane".
I passed the messages and told him that I was keeping the Swamp Witch cauldron stirred with okra. He seemed to be glad that we weren't slacking off too much.
Warren asked me to pass on how grateful he is for all of the visits and support. He doesn't have much Internet access where he is. He said that he wants to be able to concentrate 100% before he starts to reply e-mails and messages. In other words, he wants to be at home and not being pulled away by therapists and have a good connection. We discussed the idea that he might practice casting as a part of his therapy. The more we talked about it, the less weird it sounded.
Regards,
Ed
Thanks for the update; I think and pray for Warren and Deb often.
Thanks for the report Ed, I forwarded it on to the Nucanoe crowd who are very anxious to hear from Warren and all wish him well and uploading prayer to our Maker.

Great news. Thanks for the update on Warren and his wife. Looking forward to the day he's back and posting on the board.
