Default Sally Hansen hard as nails and foam?

Will SH hard as nails work on foam? I'm Wanting to tie up some Charlie boy hoppers and I'm out of super glue. No big deal normally but we are snowed in and may not be able to get out for another couple of days. So I'm bored out of my mind and would love to tie a few flies and dream of summer. I thought about taking a piece of foam and trying a piece but Im really wondering how will it hold up this summer if tied now?

    Thanks,
    hNt

Sally takes too long to set for something like a Charlie Boy, and I doubt it would work well on foam anyway; if you don't have Super Glue, you'd be better off with rubber or contact cement - spread some, on the 2 surfaces, let it dry, then squeeze it together.

You're right Scott At least my experiment on a small piece of foam did not stick. But my wife had some krazy glue that I didnt know about so I'm going to get to tie a few anyway now

Super glue (AC) is what you need to glue craft foam, SH or other nail polishes and be used to seal thread but not really what you want as glue. Another option is the peel and stick foam sheets.

    hNt,
I'm glad you found some glue. I was having a hard time trying to convince TEMA to deliver a tube of Super Glue to your address. They didn't seem to see battling the Shack Nasties a all that important. They don't understand, clearly.

    Regards,
    Ed
