With the warm Winter we have had, the entire Roaring Fork and Colorado will fish well for you. Both as well as the Frying Pan are fishing great now. Pick your poison. I will leave you to the people that live hundreds of miles away from this spot to let you know where to fish and what flies to use.

Good luck., and have a bunch of fun!

Thanks DUB! Like the guy at the Orvis shop here in New York City said, there is a secret to the spot (the Toilet Bowl), that you're not going to find online

The reports say the Roaring Fork is fishing very well with winter midges, nymphs and streamers !

I think I might try the Roaring Fork at Jaffe Park. I picked up a few assorted midges, RS2 emergers, stoneflys and I had a few mysis shrimp left over from last year. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll hit the Frying Pan.

I finally connected on the Frying Pan. Landed a 12" brown on a PMD spinner. Got away before I could get a picture. Dropped a couple of others.

Nicer weather than your last trip, anyway. Buy a map of the access points on the FP from the fly shop, and try some of the other places besides the upper.

I actually do have one of those maps. I fished right around mile marker 7. A colleague recommended I stay away from the toilet bowl if I really wanted to catch fish. I just didn't put in enough time to catch more. Too much to do out there!
