They will both catch fish as others have said. You are probably aware of the gap in the hackle on the bugger. Eventually you'll find that you don't do that automatically but you might want to be aware of it for now. I like to have hackle right up to the head and often try to have a thicker collar of hackle at that point. The leach has a thin spot at the back and the wing could be longer. Actually they are quite good for a beginner. I just wanted to point out a couple of things you can think about to improve when practicing. One variation I like to use on marabou leaches is to add a very short slender throat of red marabou. It's easy and adds a possible strike trigger. Everyone agrees that they will catch fish but don't fish them for now. Look at them next year and see how much you have improved.
