Here is a really nice underwater picture I took of a rainbow while fishing on Taneycomo last week. Used my new Digital Pentax WPi camera. Would make for a cool desktop background on your PC

Here is another one.....feeding time on Taneycomo...
Yes it makes a very cool background on my computer at work. Now I am like a kid at a candy store drooling at the window.

Wow, those look awesome. I do some fish & wildlife art painting and i've been trying to get shots like that for a while. What's the secret?

While fishing Taneycomo the fish have a tendency to follow you in the water looking for scuds and sowbugs as you walk. Kind of funny to say the least. I used the Pentax WPi waterproof digital camera to take these pictures. I held it under the water and snapped the shot. The fish just so happened to give me a nice pose...

Awsome pics Ron!
Were you fishing below the dam?
It takes really nice pictures. It was nice of those bows to come up and pose for you. They always swim away from me. About what price range might that camera be? I may need to make a purchase.
Alan,
I have done the same thing on Tanycomo with my Pentax. I have actually be tripped by pods of fish in Tanycomo, incredible isn't it. Did you correct the color? Mine come out pretty dark and green but Paintshop Pro fixes them right up. If not and that is how they came out of the camera I need to upgrade, mine is the one that came out last year and is 5mp.

Yes we were fishing right below the dam. I actually snapped the pictures of the trout right at the rebar hole.

I got mine for around 289.00. I heard Pentax just came out with a new waterproof WP model with a bigger veiwfinder and maybe a little more mpixels. Might want to look at that as well.

I didn't do anything but set the mode to underwater. I was very impressed with the underwater quality. I have the WPi model which is an upgrade to the original WP.
