Tough to make sense of what sells quickly and what doesn't sometimes. I thought all three of these would have disappeared quickly even at the originally posted prices. I have the BIIX in that same configuration, and while I like all of the (way too many) rods I have, I think that's the last one I'd ever let anybody take from me. Somebody buy these so I can stop pretending that I don't see them for sale!

Me too! I own the 590-4 Biit and the 690-4 Biix. Two of the best fishing rods that I own and a great combination of rods. The 590 is a very soft, almost bamboo-like graphite rod. It gives me the pleasure of fishing bamboo, but with the advantages of a 9 foot rod that is very light weight. When the wind picks up, or you want to fish streamers or a heavy nymph rig, the 690 Biix is perfect. Whoever buys these won't regret it.
