Mega freshwater flyfishing hook sale contemplated:_)

Due to pollution, hatchery trout viruses which closed our Long island premier Connetquot freshwater flyfishing river, I've stopped fishing for trout, period and, so, have stopped tying freshwater flies.

I've just gone through all my freshwater fly tying hooks and have noted them here on my desk, contemplating whether there is a market here on FAOL for these hooks.

Most are in flyshop boxes or packets ordered online. I will need to count the hooks when offering for sale but, before I go through that effort, just wondering if this would be the spot to offer my hooks, not being used anymore.

Hook brands are Eagle Claw, Mustad, Diiachi, Orvis, Universal Vise, Cabela, Owner.

If any are interested in my hooks, how would you suggest I list them? A complete list or what?

As for me I would not require an exact count as long as I knew about how many there were in the package.
I am located over 2 hours from the nearest FF store and it is the FF section of the BPS in Nashville.
So I buy almost all my tying material online from retail shops and the forums.
I myself would be interested in Midge/Scud hooks in the 8 - 12 range.

Thx, Clint, for your reply. I'm going to organize my hook packages with a general hook count per pkg. and then list them since I have had interest shown here on the forum as well as private messages. I do have scud hooks in the range you indicated and they'll be included in my listing. Stay tuned

Thank you forum members for your comments/private messages and interest in my hooks. I have also received private messages regarding the purchase of the complete package and rather than make several small shipments, I have decided to accept Whitewolf's (Jim's) offer to purchase the lot and have been in touch with him regarding the sale.
