    Here's another idea for those people who have very limited space for their tying area. I picked this up off of Craig's list. It's about three feet tall, two feet wide and 16 inched deep and extremely well made. The drawers are solid aluminum on ball bearings and have configurable dividers. It was made for the US military for medical supplies and has wheels and an extendable handle to move it around. Actually, I bought two of them off the guy and sold the second one for the same amount as I paid for two of them, so technically, I got it for free. While I haven't set mine up as a tying table yet, I think you could easily convert the removable top into the desk top and the last two drawers have room for the vice and plenty of tools. Just t thought for those with limited room for their tying supplies.

    I have a big desk as I tie jigs and flies so I have mine set up in three sections, tying, airbrushing and powder painting. Here is a picture of the tying section.
