For all you folks that dream of owning this book, and do not want to shell out big bucks for it... Bob Veverka has posted on his facebook page the publisher is considering printing another edition.

Well, that could be good news, but I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet.

Putting it out there for consideration is still a long ways from the press. Many reprint proposals are abandoned after further examination. IIRC, the first and only printing of this title took six or seven years to go out-of-print. It's a wonderful book, and it's understandable it's highly sought, but the actual demand may fall short of Stackpole's requirement for another print run. Fly tyers are a small market, and those who craft spey flies even more so.

That said, consideration is a breath of hope for those in the market for its eventual return to the shelves.
