    Hans,

    The fibers on that peacock herl are ridiculously long. Where do you get it and does that size reflect anything about the quality of the eyes for quill bodies?

    Many moons ago I bought a bundle of full feathers and I am working my way through them slowly. Yes they are nice indeed

    The stripped quill are well marked also.

    I don't involve myself with firearms any more, but I know where there are several and the landowner doesn't mind if they "meet with an accident". The Alpha male will not let any of the others grow a tail, so his days could well be numbered.
