I believe that Haretron is the standard Hareline dubbing with Antron blended. But Hare's Ear Plus is the "Hares Ear" dubbing. From the mask and spikier...verses just plain old rabbit.
As described by two different websites:
Hareline Haretron Dubbing
One of our favorite fly tying materials. This blend of rabbit and Antron fibers is easy to work with and is available in a great selection of fly tying colors. Highly recommended! Very easy to dub, has great "life" and works really well in dubbing loops or for tight bodies.

Hare's Ear Plus Dubbing
Spiky rabbit fur guard hairs combined with trilobal Antron fibers which act as a binder and add extra shine. Most of the guard hair fibers are coarse, slick and tapered. This is some of the buggiest dubbing ever invented for tying wet trout flies and nymphs. The natural hairs are mottled tan to black shades. Dyed colors retain this mottling. The color swatches given below are an approximation of the overall shade.

Thanks. I couldn't figure it out, but I see the guard hairs make the difference.
