Sulphur Mushroom/How Long to Fry

I found a pile of sulphur mushrooms. How long is it necessary to fry them? I usually fry them in butter and garlic, but I never really know how long? Thanks

If you mean laetiporous sulpherens or sulfur shelf polypores then I cook them over low heat until they are tender. I never timed it out. Sorry about the latin but I hate to mislead anyone about mushrooms and prefer to careful.
