I'm new here and wanted to say hello

Hi everybody. I'm new to this site and wanted to do a quick introduction. My name is Scott. I live in Lancaster, Pa. Started fly fishing in 1981. Was mostly away from the sport for the past 12 years. I have crossed over to the dark side and started fishing bamboo and now there's no hope for me.

Nice site! I've enjoyed reading the post over the past several days.

Thanks old geezer for the welcome. My grandfather had a hunting and fishimg cabin a stone throws away from kettle creek. Just over the county line in Cliton county on Young womans creek. My fondest childhood memories are there!

Harold, "tea stick" is a slang word for bamboo.

Hi, Scott. Welcome. Glad to hear that you like bamboo. You have plenty of company. I still bring out my first rod a few times a year. It came from Montgomery Ward and was given to me by my father more than 50 years ago.
Who says they aren't durable? Gerry
