    Default A question about "guests"

Seems that, whenever I look at the bottom of the main BB screen, there are many, many times more "guests" than active members...

    Any theories as to why?

I would guess that some of them are members who don't bother to log in unless they want to submit a comment.

It is a good indicator. It means that all those people who are guests are at least interested in fly fishing or are in fact fly fishers. The more the merrier. Larry ---sagefisher---

I automatically log in unless I have turned off and rebooted my computer, then I have to go through the steps. I stop my for a few minutes frequently but have been making an effort to not stay logged in while I am working on something on the computer. I don't know a heck of a lot about computer but I figure I'm using bits or bytes that may be slow the process down.

Some would be technologically challenged old men such as myself who can manage to call up the site on that newfangled "smart" phone, but have enough trouble navigating on the phone, much less logging in.

Nope. The guests you are referring to are probably bots. The bad parts of the internet. Also refers to the search of companies like Bing,Google, and others.
