Itching to build another rod, I placed an order on Sevier's website about a month ago. So, I'm just starting to wonder, does anyone else use this site? Have you had any issues?

Has your card been charged? Dave has had a bunch of serious health issues and most of the builders I know have come to the conclusion that he is pretty much out of business. That's too bad because Dave was a straight shooter. Tiger eye blanks are beautiful and fished nice, too. Wish I knew where he was getting them.

Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some person ever reads.
No, my card hasn't been charged. That's too bad to hear he's out of business, especially if it's because of his health conditions. I was really looking forward to building some rods on those tiger eye blanks...

Those are one of my favorite blanks. Sad to hear because I wanted to purchase a few.
I have found a few tiger eye blanks on ebay. I liked looking at the Sevier website.
I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim

Who is John Galt?
Since they are basically by the same manufacturer, the only diffference I can perceive is that for instance the 2/3 wt which usually tended to be closer to a 3 wt, where in these blanks they run more true to the weight designations and they are not multiweight designated. If you want a 3wt get the 3wt, if you want a 4wt, get the 4wt. They will handle overlineing, but it is not necessary.
