Yes! I kick myself for disposing of his fishing and tying pattern book. Have you tied any Usuals on it yet?
Big fan of Fran Betters! I have use The Usuals a lot over the years but for the past 2 1/2 years haven't been able to find a single cream snowshoe hare foot at any of the local stores (5 different stores) and have had some bad luck with buying sight unseen so right now have dwindled down to zero in the fly boxes. Would love to look through his pattern book one day.
When my wife and I got married, she made her wedding dress but, all she could find were white fabric buttons and she wanted off white so, what she did was soak them in tea and they turned to a wonderful off white color. I was thinking you might be able to do the same process to dye you snowshoe hare feet.
