Hi Hans,
As per usual your fly is clean, every turn purposeful, colors are easily defined, proportions right, and the fly is just plain enticing. That is to our eyes. Now just two questions: Of all the fly patterns you post, what percentage do you actually fish? Of those, what percent do you consider successful(meaning it works well enough so that you have confidence in it and would use that fly again)?
Cheers,
Allan
Allan,
No idea on percentages, but I do not manage enough stream time to give each an every pattern a thorough workout - though I do try
That said - the patterns I do tie are all designed to be fished, to be "fishable", with confidence.
Cheers,
Hans W
