Pistachios anyone?

i want to learn how to make these

1-DSC_0006-001.jpg1-DSC_0002.jpgJonathan , first pick a pistachio shell that is symetrical ( you may have to eat quite a few to find one,bonus) and then chose the apropriate size hook. I used monofilament and thread to make the legs ,head and tail. If you use white thread you can add colors with markers and seal the color with head cement. With an emery board make 2 indentions on the sides of the shell to catch your thread and tie the shell to the hook with figure "8" wraps. Then just have fun . You will find that some shells look like some types of turtles already , just add some detail and color .
