Asian Bamboo Quad
I met a guy that lives in Java, Indonesia and he built me a 7' 3/4 wt rod made from local bamboo. The handle is turtle bamboo with stacked bamboo reel seat. Very inexpensive. Here is a link to the pictures

How's it cast?
I haven't received it yet so I can't tell you how it cast but, as far as inexpensive, $200. I met him through a member on another forum who is friends with him. He bought one of his rods and said they are fantastic. Posted pics of fishing with it. I am excited to get it. Once I get it in hand, I will post more about it's action.
