Fly Logic Reel Dimension

According to a site, the reel below has the listed dimensions. Does this mean the 2.6" dimension is the space between the two plates? is this a large arbor reel?

Amazon,...dimensions are often given "as boxed." Fly Logic doesn't show the actual dimensions on its site, but an email to them might help.

FWIW, a wide drum salmon reel wouldn't have an internal width that size.
