    Default RIO Outbound Tropical Short

I damaged my right shoulder in Spring of 2011, really played hell with my casting (I was not Lefty Kreh to begin with). I have been struggling to really get my stroke back. I just purchased a Helios Mid Flex, 9', 8wt and strung it up with RIO Outbound Tropical Short for a trip to Florida. Wow! I am impressed. That stuff is 'Da Bomb', I can finally really cast the line nearly to the backing. Anyone else have any experience with this line?

Have you considered it might be the rod in lieu of the line?

I really wouldn't know, just curious.

The Outbound Short lines are among the most user friendly distance lines on the market. Not for delicate presentations but great for distance and tossing big flies.
