    Default clark fork

Anybody know what shape the Clark Fork is in now close to Missula. I'll be there Thursday through Sunday.

Here's the latest report from Kingfisher:

    and from Grizzly Hackle:

Looks like it's high and on the rise, with above Missoula as your better bet. I'm sure some locals will chime in; I'd find some other water higher up to fish.

    Regards,
    Scott

    Fishboy,
If you are in the area, don't skip the Blackfoot, Bitterroot, or Rock Creek. Best Regards....

Rock Creek is currently blown out according to yesterday's fishing report.

However, I believe there are several streams that are still very fishable in that area. At least if they are anything like my waters here in Wyoming.

Likewise, here is the report for the Billings Gazette Sister newspaper in Missoula. http://missoulian.com/lifestyles/rec...9bb2963f4.html

Trav and Tom fished the Big Horn Thurs and Friday - good hatches, great fishing and tons of people. As you might recall with the floods last year you couldn't get there from here (or anywhere else.) They had a great time until there were too soaked to enjoy it any longer....but we need the rain so no one is complaining.

I think that's the other Rock Creek, the one that flows out of the Beartooths over by Red Lodge. The Rock Creek that flows into the Clark Fork appears to be high but fishable; definitely not prime time:
