All I have to say is that I have dealt with both companies. I will never deal with Cabelas again. LL Bean is superior in every way. Just my opinion. By the way, those $79 waders are an excellent buy.

It's a good thing that you plan to try on the waders before buying. Just remember that you should be able to step on the seat of a kitchen chair to assure that you have plenty of room. I did not do this and blew the seams out of a pair of Simms.

I went to the Cabela's last night with the intent of purchasing a pair of the RVG waders
(that's what this thread was about ... remember ?)
They didn't even have them in stock. Maybe there was a run on them and they sold out, but I don't think so
I took it as a bad sign and got the dry-plus premiums instead
Currently, that makes for 6 different pairs of Cabelas waders for me.... Maybe I should open a store !
The simpler the outfit, the more skill it takes to manage it, and the more pleasure one gets in his achievements.

Careful there Steve, there was a fellow down this way driving down the interstate one night and needed to go, pulled into a rest area and found the restroom locked. He eased out into the woods behind the rest area "to go", he looked around didn't see anyone and started to take care of business. Only to be arrested for indecent exposure, which ended up costing him thousands to defend. The police were hidden looking for a sexual predator and caught an innocent bystander in an unfortunate situation. So going anywhere is not advisable.
