Way to hurt feelings Byron! You bully! LOL

Lee Wulf could kick Chuck Norris's butt, and he wouldnt use a vise or bobbin to do it! So there!

Byron? I dont have any Grey Wulfs in my box either, but I am not gonna have a tissy fit because of it

There are plenty of fly fishers who have 'pet' or 'favorite' dry flies. One renown fly fisher, who's also an extremely respected author, fly fishing historian and conservationist, used one(1) fly for several seasons. There are fly fishers that carry very few different patterns and there are those who carry 100s of patterns. IMHO, the flies a fly fisher carries covers the spectrum of 1(see above) to as many as can fit in the vest.
So, in answer to your statement and question: "Usually, there is a correlation between the dry flies one believes in and fishes....and the dry flies in his box....
Am I wrong about that too? "

the short answer is, YES! But you'll no doubt disgree with my assessment.

Logic would dictate that I disagree. Just my option though.

Hey Byron.... You should tie up a Royal Wuff and use some the purple stuff you were into for a while for the stripe.... that would probably be a pretty darn good fly!

Gotta believe that some of the top selling flies in the US are adams and EHC...how long have they been around?

The bugger? Muddler? I know they arent old old dogs, but they still have legs

Havent seen a Muddler in my fly shop in years. Plain Jane Bugger? Nope. Come to think of it, I know theres Parachute Adams, but no "regular" Adams. You are so very very right. Theres EHC.
