    My grandmother used to tell use kids the best way to remove a bandaid is to do it in one swift motion.

    I have heard of this method but never have seen it live. Thanks Uncle Jesse. That could come in handy someday.

    Or you could just use barbless hooks, but it's good to know to take hooks out of other people or somebody hooks you.

    I've used it, on myself. The key there is to use enough mono that you can make really big loops that go over your shoe. Then you don't pull the mono, you snap your arm away while pushing down on the hook. Not perfect, actually pretty clumsy, but it worked.
