Default Need the awesomest, beutifulest, fish catchiest brown trout fly ever

Next summer I'm going to take even more (and bigger) of the brown trout in my favorite lake.
I'm looking for a new killer pattern.

So, as it says in the title, I need the awesomest, beutifulest, fish catchiest brown trout fly ever.
    Preferable a streamer fly.

    Any ideas?

You probably are not looking for an answer this simple but... I catch more big browns on olive buggers than any other pattern by far.

Charlie Bisharats Pole Dancer. This is a topwater streamer that works like a Zara Spook lure. Designed with striped bass and largemouth bass in mind. It works for many species in fresh and saltwater including brown trout.

    Thorarinna,

I use a red and black semi seal leech for big browns in the lake where I fish in Colorado. Biggest so far was 30", several dozen over the last few years in the 22 to 28 inch class. Size 4 or 6 on a 4X hook.

Easy, durable tie. Cacthes anything that swims so far.....

    Hy guys

Simple is good, I use a pattern that looks like the olive bugger except I use orange and black, it's called Nobbler.
    Like this one: http://www.pickafly.com/fly-fishing-...-streamer.html

I googled pictures for pole dancer, luckily my wife wasn't there
What a fly, is it fishscull in the head?
Looks a bit like hitching, but probable not the same.

Black semi seal looks a relative of the buggger and Nobbler.
Is it also called Simi Seal Leach: http://www.azod.com/fishing/flyfishi...Seal Leech.htm

I'm afraid I have to tie all those patterns and try them out.

My go to fly for browns is the halloween leech and the still wter nympth. Both are simple ties and will work in rivers, or lakes. My other go to fly is a stayner ducktail.

I think the oldies are the goodies when it comes to browns, Personaly I have caught more browns on Pheasant Tail Nymphs than any other pattern.
    All the best.

Sorry, I have no recommendations, I'm just chiming in to say that I think this thread should be in the running for the most interesting title of the year.

Check out everything you can find on Kelly Galloup Streamers then Ray Schmidt Streamers and Bob Linsenman's streamer flies...in particular the Ditch Pig. If you are on Facebook, you may find this one interesting. Galloup Streamer Fans

I fish these flies. They work.
