    Default Gremlin rods

Anyone use/ever used one these rods? Just curious how they are as a budget rod.

    Default

Ive owned a 7 1/2 ft 3wt 2pc. for5--6 years. have caught many panfish with it. casts fine with a wf4f line.
hardware is descent the only issue i have is some of the clearcoat at the handle is flaking off. not a big deal to me as i didnt buy it for cosmetics. possibly caused by misshandling.
i often fish out of a canoe & switch back and forth with two rods & setups [sponge spider & indicator / beaded fly.]
hope this helps with your decision. norb
