Absolutely. I have 2 of the 7' 4 wt. one ounce (older unfinished two piece) the older superfine, the newer RED superfine, and a trout bum 7' 4 piece 4 wt. Then I went to glass and bamboo. That Hardy "The Test" is very nice. You might want to try it.

I will look for Hardy's "The Test", it looks like it's right up my alley. I'm a little ashamed to mention how many Orvis rods I own.....more than half my collection. But I do love them.
