    Hi Rodgerole,

Feather-Craft has had Canadian Brown Mohair for quite a few years now. Here's the link.

Default Canadian Brown or Spectrumized Brown Mohair Yarn

This is more what I had in mind, it may be spectrumized but looks like the yarn I found listed as Canadian Brown on several websites.

Good looking yarn. I cannot help you on find a matching yarn, but Arizona Simi Seal comes in a "spectrumized" Canadian Brown that while a bit shinier than your original material, might be a reasonable substitute. The only other suggestion I would make if you cannot find this stuff, is to mix your own from angora goat dubbing. You should be able to match the effect with only a little experimentation (a box of assorted colors might be a useful starting point), and once you have the color matched, use a dubbing loop to get the same effect.

I found what I believe to be what you are looking for at a store that sells yarns and sowing things. Check at Wal-mart or any other place that sells yarn. If you want some let me know and I'll send you a few yards. I have more than I'll ever use. Oooppps. Sorry I just went and checked. I have two skiens. The one I thought matched yours is much more orange in colour and the other is a plain (however shiny) brown.

    http://flyfishingnetwork.com/FlyBuy/...rnsPiping.html

I found it in this Pennsylvania site . It is a little hard to get around in. While it is listed on this page you can not buy it directly.

Go to flyfishingnetwork.com click on flybuy in middle of left column select fly tying materials select yarns and piping. A search window will come up on the right side of the window select exact match, and type in canadian mohair, a shopping cart will pop up with a box to write in your color selection spectrumized brown.

I don't known these people If it were me I try and find a number to call them if possible
    Good luck

Ps I read on a forum these guys are suppose to have it.
