The Green River is 15 miles away, but you would be in the town of same name. My favorite still waters, 100 miles to Pindale, Little Halfmoon, or to South Pass, Fiddler Lake. 80 or so to Big Sandy or Little Sandy rivers, or Sweetwater river. Hope to fish the Green more, especially below Fontenelle Dam and into Seedskadee refuge. Its only about 30 minutes away.

    Arrow About 45 miles ...

... to where I usually start fishing my home water ...

... and 75 miles to lower end of the stretch where I spend most of my time.

Hope you enjoy the sampler from last year's runoff. It gets easier and better when it settles down.

    Default Home water

Was 5 minutes from the office on the way home- changed jobs - still on the way home but it now takes me 25 minutes to get there, or 2 hours to the cottage for smallmouth.

100 feet from my back door to world class river smallie fishing. 40 minutes or so to quality trout fishing.

I fish about 190 miles east of here up in the mountains. The creek is a few hundred yards from my cabin and the river is a few miles away by walking or by car. It's funny but way back when I didn't know the creek was nearby when I made an offer on the cabin. It was the dead of winter and the spring thaw brought a wonderful surprise. We still chuckle about it.

Down here in the flats I'm a couple of miles from a small lake but I prefer moving water so I haven't fished it yet.

Two nearest freshwater trout streams are 200 yds through the woods and a 10 minute drive. Nearest salty fly rodding is about a 15 minute drive.

Two hours in the car north to Sedona
25min in the car north to the Anthem community lake
30 min on the bike to the good spots along the canal in the city
And sometimes Lees Ferry, but that one is a stay over so it takes some planning and saving
