December 22nd is the start of Winter Season , it is not the beginning of the Dark Days, instead it is Beginning of more Daylight returning into our daily lives....

This is one of my favorite days of the year. Bring on the sun!

    Into each life.............!
When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.

I thought I heard it's a minute more light each day, until we move the clocks forward.

Go to http://www.sunrisesunset.com/ You can customize a calendar for your zipcode or town. Looking forward we experience the equilvalent of the vernal equinox in the area where I live on March 16-17 with sunrise and sunset being 12 hours apart.

I use sunrisesunset.com when I need to know what time to be at location for morning or evening photo shoots. Great little web site. Also shows moon rise and set times which are handy for me if I need or want to incorporate a moon in my shots.
