    Default Pocket Knife Aficionados

    Happy Holiday's Everyone,

I'm trying to play Santa this week and I've been pouring over the web without much luck, maybe you can help.

Do any of you know of a reasonably priced in-production bone or wood handle, single or two blade folding pocket knife that has both blades on one side and "here's the kicker ", that has a stainless steel attachment shackle on the other side ( through the bolster ). Something with a blade length of 2.5" to 3" would be preferable. Really not interested in a side clip model.

Imagine something along these lines, but with a shackle opposite the blade(s).

    Thank you, Dave

I do not believe this is what you want, although it fits the description. This website has a huge variety, which I enjoyed going through, I love knives. If you want something like the trapper pattern, there are some good buys on the website of quality knives. Take it to a machine shop and drill a hole and add the shackle.

Check out Case. Well built, American made (Central PA), and a great selection of bone/stag pockets.

Check out http://www.agrussell.com. If they do not have what you are looking for in their web catalog, you should call them and they ought to be able to point you in the right direction.

It doesn't have the lanyard loop, but I've carried this knife for over 10 years and swear by it. Plus they have a free replacement if you ever have a problem. And they're made in Post Falls, Idaho.

At the outset, it seemed like such a simple item to find.........lol.

Hey guys, thanks so much for all of your efforts in finding this. With the clock running down, I'm going to take it another direction, which will be much easier to locate.

Again, thank you all very much. Dave.
