JohnScott the fly is very flexible . The legs and antennae are monofilament , the body is mostly deer hair and thread. Here 's another view of the fly.

Thanks everyone. Big Bad Wulff this fly took almost an hour. The hopper goes together pretty quick , except for the legs which have to be heat kinked with a bodkin.The hind legs take longest of all . They are tied each with one straight piece of mono and one piece that is looped and wrapped with thread to give it the propper look.The color of the fly comes from marking the thread with Copic markers .
