SM's Yellowback Fly & Extended Body MB

Just for the fun of it here are some poor attempts. This past summer we heard Steve Martin perform with his blue grass band, very entertaining. One of the numbers was entitled the Yellow Back Fly. I came home and tried to find a fly by that name with no luck. So I played around and this was the result, and for more foolishness I made a pin version. It might work as an attractor. I tried to send them to him but were returned because of incorrect address.
I have always wanted to tie an extended body may fly, but those thread bodies just looked too hard. So I tied these March Browns on a flat toothpick. They need some refining, but I think they will fish. If the tooth pick idea has been done before, I don't mean to plagiarize someone else's idea.
Don't laugh too hard, a little is OK.
