Going for a Float
I think I'll put my butt in my boat and take it for a float on Thursday to Liberty Lake. If I think about it, I'll take my camera along. Liberty is a funny lake. If you're sitting in the middle of the lake looking south, it looks like a high mountain lake. If you turn around and look north, it looks like the Chicago skyline. It supposedly has rainbows and browns. I know for a fact that it has perch, bass & bluegills. But, I don't even care if I catch anything. The float will do me good.
I would head south and never look back

Aw Shucks. I went today instead. Lake was like a glass all day long. I found out that my electric trolling motor will take me all the way around the lake. It's a 711 acre lake, so that was some good news. I didn't manage to catch any trout, but this little guy and four similar sized perch gave me a wiggle in the rod. I think I've figured out how to catch perch at that lake.
It was a good day.
