Default first attempt with peccary hair

I haven't tied much since Allen sent me this but today I tied this in expectation of fishing tomorrow or Wednesday. I should have tied the wings in first but I got caught up in using the peccary hair and added them after the abdomen. The result was an uneven wing height but the fish will probably buy it this way.

Don, the abdomen is a peccary hair. I wanted a white mayfly for the Ephoron hatch that should be just getting started on our local rivers. I probably have plenty of them but when I saw the black and white sections on the peccary hair my first thought was that the white portion was long enough for a #14 white mayfly. I now know that I will definitely want to split the hair for small blue wing olives with the dyed hairs

OK, that just seemed too thick for pecarry hair. I have a peccary hide and there are no white portions on any of the hairs- beige at best. I like the color graduations of my peccary hairs.
One way to thin down a fly body is to soak a hair and then rub it flat with something smooth.

I got some pecarry hair in a swap awhile back, and just this summer started using it.
it makes nice bodies, and I also use it for hopper legs by tying a knot in them for a knee.

Could you make that somewhat bigger so we can see some detail? Thanks.
