Default Alaska Trout / fly fishing trip??

Any of you that know or fish Alaska, can you give me some ideas for a fly fishing trip. It actually isn't for me but for a friend. His Dad is elderly and wants to take his two sons to Alaska for a fly fishing trip, primarily to catch trout and Greyling. They are not interested in Salmon at all.

What was explained to me was an interest in almost a fly out, drop off and pick up type of trip where all the tents etc. were provided. Does such a outfitter exist??? Does anyone have any ideas? I'll forward them on to him. A lodge probably isn't out of the question either or perhaps one of those places that are somewhat self guided while food and lodging is provided.

    Thanks.

I'd contact Hap from this board. Sounds like the fishing is good up there now.

Hap is your answer, if he isn't reading the board at the moment he may be fishing, call Denny Conrad, he has been there with Hap!

    Come in HAP. Respond.
I spent a week fishing with Hap & his son Riley in 2009. They know the country and fly fishin. Was a trip of a lifetime for me. I had the choice to fish for any specie and go any place in Alaska. I chose Grayling and went after The State Catch & Release Trophy Angler Award. Thanks to both Riley and Hap, I not only caught lots of grayling but managed to CR my trophy fish. Pictures, paper work completed and sent in and is proudly hanging on my wall. The memories are priceless. Thanks to my two friends and the best guides in Alaska.
Orthoman, I just talked with HAP this past weekend. Talk with him. I do not know his schedule but he will know and share with you & your friend, info that will make your trip worthwhile and memorable.

    PM sent to orthoman...

No good fishing in Alaska left, it is all used up... Just keep moving folks, nothing to see here!

I had a fly rod in my hand most of the day today and almost never was out of sight of fish...
