I have 3 different colors of two midge patterns that I would like some people to test.

It might not be right away that I can test them, but I'd be interested, Rick. Algae blooms and have kept me from flinging flies lately. But, I would give 'em a run this fall! Let me know.

Hi Rick,

I have hardly gotten to fish this year or last, but hope to do some when it cools down. I have seen several times when there appears to be a midge hatch about sunset here, and have had some luck with a Griffiths Gnat. If you send me a note with a brief description of the pattern and colors, I will tie up some and try to fish them if I get to go this fall.

I live near Zac and am in the same fix as he and Gandolf. Maybe late September into October it will be cool enough. That's what happened in 1980.
