So, I go to the chat room pretty much every night. Some nights there will be a billion people, sometimes none. I hear people talking about being on all the time. Is there a schedule of times to go on chat? Or is it acting up for me? Mods, if this is in an inappropriate topic forum thing, feel free to move it. Thanks,

I just get Connection Timed Out... several times so I just give up. I suggested a voice chat alternative that seemed to fall on deaf ears (team speak) so i gave up.

I get the same problem if I try to get into the chat from the Home Page. But if I go in through the Bulletin Board it always works for me.

I found the same thing as Joe. Go in thru the bulletin board and everything is A-OK.

I notice that most people are in chat after 5pm up untill around 8 or 9pm Pacific time. Anytime other than that there is almost always no-one on there. ( like right now for instance 3:49pm )

Hi Gaeron, on the HOME page under Chat there is a schedule of times and hosts. I am not sure if that schedule is still accurate though. I would suggest that you contact the following hosts and ask: Ray, Biot Midge, Antron Midge, Charlaine C, QC, Dan Bob, Vickie Eagle Elk, REE and Denny. Let us know what you hear. Like you and others, I have entered the Chats at the scheduled times and have been all alone

The Chat Room schedule on the home page is outdated. None of those hosts are active now.

The publishers and our favorite techie, Ron Tidd, are looking for a new chatroom program that can be integrated into the site. The one we have now is a stop gap until a new one is found. Entering through the bulletin board is the best way to get into the chatroom. The best times are 6:00 to 10:00 PM Pacifice Time. Jack is correct about the host page. It hasn't been updated in a long time.
